All you number crunchers out there – this one’s for you!
You first need to know the goal of your marketing piece, whether it is to generate new business for your salon or to create awareness. In these economic times, awareness sounds nice but it’s not too practical unless you’re doing it for free. (Which is actually doable, using many of the social networking tools available today.) The idea of paying for awareness these days just seems plain silly.
